Seniesa Estrada achieved an important victory by defeating Tina Rupprecht by unanimous decision of the judges, on Saturday March 25 at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California (USA). USA). The boxer unified the titles of the World Boxing Association (WBA) and the World Boxing Council (WBC) that will snatched the German.

The Los Angeles native controlled her opponent using her jab and body shots. In addition, Estrada almost completely nullified Rupprecht's right hand, her best weapon. In the end the judges scored 100-90 on all three scorecards.

“This training camp was harder mentally than physically. I showed it in the ring by sticking to my game plan and using my jab. I always want to put on an entertaining fight, but I knew that with an opponent like Tina, I had to use my jab because she is a short fighter who stays very low. And when you fight fighters like that, you have to use your jab and stick to a game plan,” Estrada said in the post-fight in-ring interview.

Likewise, Seniesa Estrada has in mind to become the undisputed strawweight champion and for this reason, still in the ring, she challenged Yokasta Valle, owner of the Organization's belts World Boxing Championship and International Boxing Federation (IBF). The Nicaraguan also defended her titles last Saturday by defeating the Mexican Jessica Basulto.

“I want to tell the other 105-pound champion ( Yokasta Valle) that I'm the next to beat you up. You can get it below. I'm the best in this division, and I know it. I want to prove it by being indisputable,” she expressed.

WBA and WBC strawweight champion Seniesa Estrada boasts an immaculate record after 24 fights with nine knockouts. For her part, the German Tina Rupprecht suffered the first loss of her career and now has a record of 12 wins, a draw and a setback.
