Julio Cesar Chavez assures that he started using drugs after his victory against Macho

Many truths were released by Julio Cesar Chavez in an exclusive interview he gave to Adela Micha on her program La Saga, one of them was to admit that he started using drugs after his remembered victory against Hector “Macho” Camacho. “It was easy for me, they had already offered it to me, but I had my goal well set. I said ' lends', to try it. That's how one gets hooked, although I didn't like it, I was awake, I liked it and I said I'm from here and that's where it went”, he confessed.

According to him, after the victory against Macho Camacho it was the first time he decided to use drugs and from there began what he calls hell for him and his entire family. In the same way, he affirmed that he was hooked from that moment on and it took him a lot of work to get rid of his addictions.

It's a growing process and I couldn't stop anymore. He caught me and then it turned into hell, I lost my first fight, my wife sued me because I beat her and I was a drug addict, the Treasury sued me for $100 thousand dollars that I never received, Don King sued me, the world came crashing down on me, continued the legend of Mexican boxing.

Thus, what was one of his great boxing triumphs, far from taking advantage of it, he used it to start his addiction to drugs. “I already had my millions in the bank, I had my private plane, I had my yachts, my house by the sea, in Acapulco, in Puerto Vallarta, I would take my plane and go wherever my fucking desire took me, ask Yolanda“, he continued.

“In Vegas I felt so lonely and empty that I don't wish it on anyone and I grabbed the dumbest, stupidest thing. I took refuge in that”, she admitted. Julio Cesar Chavez made these statements that coincide with the bad moment that his son is going through and for which he has fought and has admitted that he will fight until the end.
