The artist Rihanna confirmed on her social networks that she will be the protagonist of the NFL Super Bowl LVII to be held at State Farm Stadium in Glendale on February 12, 2023.
The singer, of hits like “Umbrella”, “Love the Way You Lie”, “Work”, among others, posted on her Instagram an image of her hand with an American football. This confirms the announcement that she will be the protagonist of the halftime show, one of the most important events in the NFL during the Super Bowl.
This announcement comes after certain rumors about the names of some artists who would be doing the halftime show. One of those who was on the table was the singer Taylor Swift.
The 34-year-old artist from Barbados will be her first time at the halftime show. The singer has not released a music album since 2016, since then she has been more dedicated to the fashion and makeup sector in which she has a brand called Fenty Beauty.
