More than 11 people were injured in an earthquake that struck Gian district on Friday morning, according to the international government news agency.

Earthquake tremors were felt once again in eastern Afghanistan on Friday. It is being told that during this time five people have died. Earlier on Wednesday, an earthquake of magnitude six had hit the same area. During this, about 1,150 people died. More than 11 people were injured in an earthquake that struck Gian district on Friday morning, according to the international government news agency.

The tremors of the earthquake were felt in a remote mountainous region suffering from terrible poverty. The earthquake has come at a time when the whole country is moving towards an economic crisis. Many countries have stopped significant funding and aid since the Taliban came to power. This increased the gravity of the situation.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported a 4.2-magnitude earthquake on Friday, while the Bakhtar news agency reported that five more people were killed and 11 were injured in the quake in Gian district.
