However, Iran has not yet said when the rocket was launched. Government TV gave information about this after pictures related to the preparation of rocket launch from the desert area surfaced. State TV claimed that the rocket launch was successful.

Meanwhile, it is also worth noting that European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Josep Borrell recently visited Tehran to resolve the impasse in talks over Iran's nuclear program.
