According to Iran's state media, Tehran launched this rocket with a satellite carrier. This news has come when the US and Iran can agree on the resumption of nuclear talks.

However, Iran has not yet said when the rocket was launched. Government TV gave information about this after pictures related to the preparation of rocket launch from the desert area surfaced. State TV claimed that the rocket launch was successful.

Meanwhile, it is also worth noting that European Union (EU) foreign policy chief Josep Borrell recently visited Tehran to resolve the impasse in talks over Iran's nuclear program. Borrell announced on Saturday that Iran and the United States would indirectly resume talks in the coming days. After this, information about the rocket launch on Sunday has come to the fore.

Earlier, when Iran had launched a rocket, the US had objected. Then the US called this action of Iran a violation of the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council. Iran, on the other hand, has also been claiming that it is not inclined to nuclear weapons. Iran claimed that satellite and rocket launches were not part of military equipment. Defense Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hosseini said the satellite carrier would boost Iran's space industry.
