Tonight the 65th will take place. Grammy Awards at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles; Dozens of artists will be present at the event, including nominees and special guests, but strong rumors have emerged that Madonna, the queen of pop, could make an appearance to deliver a statuette.
Multiple sources told Variety that the singer would be at the event to please her fans while also bolstering promotion for her upcoming Celebration world tour, which kicks off this summer. So far neither Madonna nor her representatives have confirmed it, but she stands out for making surprise appearances at various award ceremonies.
Music stars confirmed for the ceremony include Harry Styles, Bad Bunny, Steve Lacy, Lizzo, Sam Smith, Kim Petras, Anitta, Maneskin and Sheryl Crow. There will be a tribute to Loretta Lynn and another to Christine McVie, as well as a celebration of 50 years of hip-hop. Although Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Adele are nominated for a Grammy this year, their presence has not been confirmed.
