The MX League showed its support to all the Mexican teams that participated in the Leagues Cup and congratulated Queretaro and Monterrey for being the only two teams left alive in the quarterfinals of the aforementioned tournament that pits the best of MLS and Liga MX against each other.
Through a statement, Liga MX assured that they will also closely follow the proceedings of the arbitration, this as a consequence of the controversies that have arisen between the crossings with the MLS teams and where there have been a large number of claims.
In the statement, the Liga MX high command began by acknowledging the support of the fans, who in their opinion are the ones who move the teams and are the basis of motivation on and off the pitches. They also indicated that they would be attentive to the arbitration proceedings in the remainder of the competition.
“We will be closely following their next matches, focusing on arbitration and VAR, a situation that we have already made latent before the Organizing Committee of LC, prior to the start of the Round of 16, with the objective of turning it over to Concacaf for its corresponding analysis”, says the statement.
“In the same way, we deeply thank and recognize our 18 teams for their dedication in the LC and we congratulate the Gallos de Querétaro and Rayados de Monterrey for their qualification to the Quarterfinals“, the statement continued in relation to the only two Mexican teams remaining in the competition.
