Karol G offered a surprise show at her nightclub El Callejón del Gato in Medellín. The Colombian singer surprised her fans with an unexpected appearance at her nightclub.
Dressed in jeans and an orange blouse, Karol G greeted those present and sang several songs from her recent album Tropicoqueta, including the song "Un gatito me lló."
The singer's unexpected appearance generated a lot of excitement among the people present at the nightclub, who arrived at the invitation that the artist made through her social networks.
Karol G expressed her excitement at being able to spend time with her fans in an intimate setting and proposed a toast to give thanks for life, friends, and family.
During the show, Karol G interacted with her audience, signed albums and items that fans brought, and even shared a drink with a fan who was moved to tears.
Karol G's visit to the nightclub is her first with an audience since its inauguration in late 2024.
Is Karol G planning to go on tour soon?
After the release of Tropicoqueta, Karol G's fans are eager to hear songs from her new album live.
In a recent interview with ELLE magazine, the Colombian singer revealed that she has a tour planned, but has not yet defined the date on which it will start.
“We’ve talked about it and there’s a plan, of course, but I don’t want to do it just because it’s expected. I don’t see touring as just that; it’s an emotional experience for me and my fans,” the singer said.
The “Provenza” singer explained that the tour won’t be a rushed commitment but rather a meaningful and emotional experience for both her and her fans.
“It’s my face-to-face moment with them, the most intimate we can share, and I want to do it when it makes artistic and profound sense, when I feel ready to give much more than what people have already seen from me,” she indicated.
The singer also took the opportunity to share that she's preparing for the tour, taking dance classes and fine-tuning all the details.
"I'm in a period of training, not improvisation. I continue working, studying, listening... I moved to New York and I'm taking classes and learning to dance different Latin genres. You know? What I'm doing right now is letting myself be surprised by life's new emotions," she said.
