Yailin La Mas Viral opened her heart to her fans. This week, the Dominican singer shared a very intimate confession with her followers on social media, which surprised them.

Through her Instagram stories, the singer shared a post about her birthday in which she took the opportunity to talk about a very difficult personal moment she experienced.

After the birth of her daughter Cattleya, she revealed, she suffered from severe depression that led her to think about taking her own life.

"I wanted to take my own life because I couldn't take it anymore," the singer said in the post; However, she assured that it was, precisely, her daughter who helped her find the strength to move forward.

“I saw you and I said: 'Who will fight for her? Who will make her happy?'” said the singer in reference to her daughter.

Yailin took advantage of her 23rd birthday, which was this Friday, to reflect on how happy she has been since her daughter was born and the good things she has brought to her life.

“You are my happiness, my joy, I can't function without you,” she assured. “Today is my birthday... but if there is someone who gives true meaning to my life, it is you, my daughter,” she added.

The singer indicated that one of the things her daughter taught her was to love unconditionally. “Thank you for being my reflection, my driving force, my greatest pride. No matter what happens, you’ll have your mother watching over you from heaven.”

In a recent interview with People en Español magazine, Yailin said that she doesn’t regret her relationships because one of them gave her the most valuable thing in her life: her daughter Cattleya, the fruit of her relationship with Anuel.

“(I love) sharing with her, seeing the things she learns, now she’s too big for me,” says the “Bing Bong” singer.

“I try to be with her all the time and teach her good things, (I continue) working to raise my daughter,” she added.

For the singer, the most important thing is to teach her daughter to be a good person and, above all, to be independent and self-sufficient.

“(My main) advice (that I will give her when she grows up) is to always do good to people,” Yailin says. “Even if they do wrong to you, God takes care of everything. She has to be a good woman [who will fight] for her rights.”
